Pretty Peonies debut

Well my latest order from PTI arrived and I got the anniversary set, called Pretty Peonies.  It's a beautiful set and I am loving the flowers and the frames, even though I realize that I am not very good at cutting them out.  Here is a simple card I made with some of my new goodies.
A calming combination of colours - creams and chocolates.  I kept the layout and colour scheme very simple.
I used  Zing Brown Sugar embossing powder on the flower and embossed using Versamark ink on a piece of kraft card stock cute out with the Happy Day die.  Love that shape!I layered a chocolate die cut behind that I had impressed with one of the impression plates - you can't see it here but it is noticeable in person.
I used a piece of Simply Jane patterned paper from Papertrey - I am such a sucker for text and book print!  I swiped the chai ink from the Vintage Touch tea dye duo - such a great edging colour!

All of this was matted on a cream cardstock base and I rounded the mat and base with a corner rounder to finish the card off and all done!

Supplies:
Paper: Staples 110lb cream, PTI kraft, Simply Jane pp, Gina K chocolate
Stamps: PTI Pretty Peonies
Ink: Versamark, Vintage Duo (chai)
Misc: Happy Days die, corner rounder, Zing Brown Sugar embossing powder

Beautiful card. Love the background paper. I have the Happy Day die and haven't used it. Love the way you used it. I too have a difficult time cutting out those peonies and the frames. I still love the set.
