Cure for the Monday Blues #34

Just squeaking in under the deadline for this fun pastel colour combo!  Taheerah's gorgeous inspiration picture made me want to create a shaker card.  My first attempt didn't go too well and the static adhered to the glitter so I tried again with some sequins.
I took a Recollections 110lb card base and made a 4.25" square card.  I cut a Lil Inkers square sticked frame using two dies and stamped the center with a Wplus9 feather set - love these little feathers!  I used Fresh ink peach, sicilian blue and sugar.
I masked off the center and stamped PTI's chevrons using Fresh ink in turquoise all over the background.
I used some foam tape for the back and a piece of acetate glued down with Tombo Mono Aqua (works great and dries clear).  I added some clear, turquoise and purply gray sequins and that's it!

That chevron background is just stunning Cara! I feel like I'm looking right at that rug from the photo! So glad you persisted with the shaker element too - even if the glitter won this round, the sequins certainly made up for it! ;-) Thanks so much for playing to find a Cure For The Monday Blues!
