Playing with Perfect Pearls and an MIM contribution!

I bought the Perfect Pearls pack of metallics a few years ago and love the shine they add to cards.  The pack comes with four colours of pearls, two brushes and a Perfect Medium pad.  The great thing about Perfect Pearls is that the Perfect Medium (or Versamark) can be used as a binder and you don't have to add a fixative after.  Big bonus in my book!
I wanted to try using them in three shades with some alphabet stamps - the new Headline Alphabet set from Papertrey.  The graphic lines of this set work well with the powders.
I used the Perfect Medium pad with the stamps - first stamping the alphabet and then using the silver in the centre, the gold above and the bronze below.  I added the trucks and cards and used silver.  A super simple card but the shine in person is great!

Have you ever used these?  Any tips or tricks using them?  One that I learned is that you can make your own shimmer mists using these with water in mini misters (or any small spritzing bottle).

Now that Nichole Heady over at Papertrey Ink has made a Make it Monday for Perfect Pearls, I am adding it to the challenge.
