From PTI's website: It only takes a little *something* to take a project from ho-hum to amazing! Even something as small as tilting your images or sentiments at an angle can have a huge impact. This month we are challenging you to create a project that features something tilted. Position a frame at an angle, tilt your text, add a background strip diagonally, create a border that has an incline, slant a sentiment block, the sky is truly the limit! We look forward to seeing your projects later this month!
For this card, I took a panel of watercolour paper and did an ombre effect with some pearlescent watercolour paints from Impress Ink. I didn't worry about lines and just blended them a bit, leaving some streaks.
After it had dried, I stamped the hexagon pattern from Rosie Posie in Steel Blue ink from Fresh. This is a nice deep turquoise shade. I layered the sentiment over top with StazOn Jet Black for a crisp look.
I mounted the watercoloured panel onto a white card base and that's it!
Supplies:
Paper: Staples 110lb white, Strathmore watercolour paper
Stamps: PTI Rosie Posie, Mini Blooms
Ink: StazOn Jet Black
Misc: Niji Pearlescent watercolours, aqua pen
