Make it Monday #68 - Pocket Cards: Celebrate today and every day

This week at Papertrey Ink's Make it Monday it's all about pocket cards.
For my first card, I decided to make something springy with some aqua mist and vintage cream cardstock.  I stamped the wrought iron background in the two different patterns on the front and back of the card with vintage cream ink.
Then I layered some Harvest Berries' gingko leaves over top with steel blue ink from Fresh.  I rounded the corners, impressed with the linen impression plate and stamped a faux stitched line with Faux Ribbon.  I adhered the two sides with thin strips of Sookwang tape and started on the inner panel.
I took a small piece of vintage cream cardstock and stamped some smaller gingko leaves with steel blue ink again.  I layered the sentiment from Happy Trails with chocolate ink from Fresh as well, restamping twice for a darker look.  I impressed this panel with the linen impression plate as well and voilà, all done!

Supplies:
Paper: PTI Aqua Mist, Vintage Cream
Stamps: PTI BB: Wrought Iron, Faux Ribbon, Harvest Berries, Happy Trails (sentiment)
Ink: PTI Vintage Cream; Fresh chocolate, steel blue
Misc: PTI Linen impression plate, Sookwang tape

Great cards, Cara! I love the Chevron Stripes version (a great masculine card), but I think this one is my favourite of the two! It's so soft and pretty! I love how it looks like the leaves are growing on the wrought iron fence!
