Make it Monday #68 - Pocket cards: Happy Father's Day

This week at Papertrey Ink's Make it Monday it's all about pocket cards.
For my second card, I busted out a Father's Day sentiment and made a card for my dad for the upcoming holiday.
I stamped a bunch of chevron strips in tuscan olive, navy and slate ink from Fresh.  I thought the colour scheme was suitably masculine. :P
Then, I stamped the double line with Faux Ribbon for a faux stitched line and adhered the two sides with thin strips of Sookwang tape and got to work on the Enchanted Evening inner panel.
I stamped the grid pattern from Background Basics: Geometrics with tuxedo black ink.  I used an old dryer cloth to ensure that the surface was ready to heat emboss.  I stamped the Father's Day sentiment from one of the Fillable Frames in Versamark ink and then heat embossed with Zing Brown Sugar embossing powder.  This is a great match to the fine linen card stock.
I used the linen impression plate to impress the pattern into the card panel and pocket.  Hope Dad likes it!

Supplies:
Paper: PTI Fine Linen, Enchanted Evening
Stamps: PTI BB: Geometrics and Chevron Strips, Faux Ribbon, Fillable Frames (sentiment)
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black; Fresh chocolate, navy, tuscan olive, slate; Versamark
Misc: PTI Linen impression plate, Sookwang tape, Zing Brown Sugar embossing powder
