Velveteen Technique

I was looking on the Hero Arts website and found this cool article on velveteen stamping.  You stamp in white and then over top with other colours and the white stamping comes through.  It is so fun!

I used Hero Arts' Thank You Definition cling stamp and stamped in white Colorbox ink.  Then I layered Pretty Peonies flowers and leaves over top in Fresh Inks.  Love the coverage of these!

After that, a sentiment from Hero Arts in Memento black ink and I was done!  Give this technique a try - it's a lot of fun.

Paper: Staples 110lb white

Ink: Fresh Inks slate, silver lilac, tuscan olive; Colorbox Frost White, Memento black
