CASual Fridays: Pretty in pink

Well, CASual Fridays has come up with another great challenge:
The DT showcased some amazing examples and it inspired me to get pink and inky.  I found this gorgeous ephemera digital paper set from Melstampz and just had to use it!
I only had access to a black and white printer so I printed the hexagons out and then took some ink to them.  I swiped lots and lots of Versamagic Pink Petunia onto the printed cardstock.  Then I die cut out a hexagon shape and used a larger one with that same die to create a frame in chocolate cardstock.  I adhered it with Tombo Mono Multi glue (this stuff rocks!) and layered the vellum behind.
I stamped the sentiment in Coffeebean Brilliance ink - this ink works really well on vellum and acetate because once it dries, it is there forever!  Great alternative to StazOn and way more pretty colours!
I added a layer of white digital paper behind the sentiment and popped the whole panel up on a card base with some foam dots.
Thanks to Mel and her generous designs for this one! :)

I made another one with shades of pink as well.  Simple layout but a useful general card to have in my stash.
I love the combination of gray (or is it grey?) and pink.  I stamped the Pretty Peonies solid flower over and over again on the Simply Jane patterned paper using Brilliance Pearlescent Orchid.  I edged it with some Distress Ink Antique Linen.  Then I added a Happy Day die stamped with the outline of the flower in Versamark and the sentiment in PTI's Vintage Cream ink. Some foam dots and that's it!
