Wishing you well

Just made this simple card for a friend's mother who broke her arm ... thought she needed a bright card.

I used a PTI Giga Guidelines Impression Plate and cut out the centre with a fillable frame, then using the stamp set for the frame.  I stamped a sentiment from the Faux Ribbon set taht works perfectly.  I used foam dots to pop the layer off the base a bit.

Supplies:
Paper: Staples 110lb, Gina K orange
Ink: Versamagic Aegean Blue, Green Olive
Stamps: PTI's Faux Ribbon, Fillable Frames #4
Tools:  PTI Giga Guidelines Impression Plate, Fillable Frames #4 die, foam dots

Thank you for your comment! I went to PTI to read about their impression plates - had no idea that they didn't emboss over to the other side, neat! I learned something new today :D I'm very amazed by your awesome embossing skills (thanks for the tag link!), the metallic ones are SUPERB, very very well done, and really classy! Just wondered if you've taken orders to do wedding invitations, or things along those lines? Cause if I were a bride I could see myself wanting cards that look like the ones you make.

I saw the tutorial on Nichole's blog on using dies for embossing and thought that was really smart! You are so kind to offer, I'd love some samples to play with, but I want to send something back!! I make my own scrunchy seam binding, i have a lot of little squares of fabric, and I have some self-made trinket pins... And I haz a lot of the little burlap twine ^_^ Let me know if you would like any of my 'wares' :) I'll be happy to send you some!
