For Cath (sans CHA) Blog Hop

Cath, since you are unable to join in CHA this year, here is a blog hop to send you some healing thoughts and hopefully make you smile.  (For those of you who would like to read more about the fabulous Cath and her Moxie Fab world, check out her post here.)

Virginia and Lorena have organized a fabulous blog hop and here are my creations.  If you get lost on the hop, see below for a link or join in the festivities!

I decided to try a digital stamp, or rather a vintage typewriter clipart image I found online.  I printed it on Kraft card stock and then stamped a Hero Arts sentiment in my favourite Jenni Bowlin chili powder ink.  I used the text impression plate by Papertrey over top to give it some texture.

I decided to make another card and used some patterned paper from a 6x6 pad of Basic Grey.  I layered it with some kraft and stamped with the new turquoise shade of Jenni Bowlin ink called 'speckled egg' with a Hero Arts sentiment (selectively inked) and a typewritten sentiment from PTI's Wonderful Words set in fountain pen (black).  I rounded some corners, layered with a thin strip of Gina K chocolate brown cardstock and a bit of jute twine.

There you have it!  Cath, we are all sending you virtual hugs and hope that this will brighten your day!

Check out this link for a full list of participants.  If you would like to join in, add your name to the list!

Nifty cards. I've never used a digital stamp or anything for that matter in cardmaking. Golly does it look good, especially with the impression plate. That typewritter is fabulous! Loing the second card too. The papers are divine and the offset sentiment works a treat.
