Here is the first of my many blog hop submissions. Hope you enjoy looking through them all!
This was the challenge set out for us:
For the March Blog Hop we are challenging you to use embroidery floss in a fun and inventive way on your project. This could include stitching, wrapping it around and tying it like ribbon, braiding, accenting tags, embroidered patterns or anything else you can dream up!
I impressed the white card base front with PTI's impression plate of polka dots. Love this look! I then stamped
Hero Arts Friendly Flags in varying sizes and designs and cut them out with my
detail scissors. What a great purchase, especially when you are trying to cut tough intricate designs. Not so much with these flags as they are easy cuts but for flowers etc, they work well. I pierced holes then threaded some embroidery floss through the flags and attached them to the card. I then stamped Giga Guidelines' sentiment in
Versafine Black Onyx and Fresh Ink steel blue.
