I just love the colour combination this month - so springy and uplifting! I decided to use some of my beloved pearlescent embossing paste with a stencil. I used an old thick paper folder to make a stencil with the Diagonal Stripes cover plate. It's a great way to recycle and make a sturdy stencil using a cover plate. I then smeared the pearlescent embossing paste all over the front of a card and let it dry while I did some watercolouring.
I took some watercolour paper and messily painted some inks mixed with my aqua pen - Hero Arts Soft Granite, Studio Calico Coral Bay and Jenni Bowlin Speckled Egg. I cut the paper with the Hello die and stacked it with two white die cuts to make it a little more sturdy. I added some Wink of Stella glitter using the pen and adhered it to the card front.
A very simple sparkly card!

Hey Cara I love the watercolor hello die over the striped background. It really pops. Great job. Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment.
I love this Cara! I don't which I like better the background or the colored die!
Oh, this is so pretty!
Ooh, I just saw this one Cara! I love that pearlescent paste background. Your watercolor treatment for your die cut is perfect, as it can stand up to that flashy background. Nice work!
