I love to create cards and it seems people enjoy receiving them. You'll often find me amidst a stack of paper, glitter, stamps and inks playing with my supplies. If you would like to make an order, email me at cardsbycara AT hotmail DOT com

Papertrey Ink March Blog Hop - attempt #5
This one is mostly white space but I still used the colour combo. I am really starting to like it!
I took some of my hoarded twine from a sampler pack and cut a notch in the card's spine to feed it through. Great tip learned from the talented Kristina Werner.
I used the Woodgrain impression plate on the die cut label for some dimension along with the omnipresent foam dots. :)
Supplies:
Paper: Staples 110lb white, PTI lemon tart
Ink: Jenni Bowlin speckled egg
Stamps: BB Circles, Harvest Berries (sentiment)
Misc: turquoise and yellow twine from sampler pack, PTI woodgrain impression plate, PTI Happy Days die, foam dots
Love this one too. So sweet and cas!!
ReplyDeleteLove that you used the woodgrain after you stamped the label.
ReplyDeleteLove this one, Cara! So CAS! I love the woodgrain and the parallel twines!
ReplyDeleteFabulous card Cara!! Love the stamped strip and label! The baker's twine adds the perfect touch!
ReplyDeleteI love the woodgrain impressed diecut!
ReplyDeleteAnother one?? Wow! So on this one, I love that the circles look like bubbles floating up behind the frame. Clean and simple :)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card Cara, love the simplicity of it and the pops of colour on the white!
ReplyDeleteThanks for leaving some love on my blog, including the hint about the trouble commenting!
